Indigitous was a web app, built for a platform intended to help like-minded people match and schedule meetings to connect.
The indigitous community wanted to expand and change the way their members connected with each other. They wanted to encourage collaboration, community, and connectivity. I joined the project as the designer and frontend developer, working with a backend developer and a REST API. Due to several challenges with the backend development, the project was unable to move forward.

The Goal
The main requirements for the web app were to allow users to sign up using social media accounts, capture data such as a user's name, location, skills, interests, project needs, language. A user should be able to set a time commitment (1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year), and record the number of people they want to meet. (4 people, 12 people, 26 people, 52 people).
The ultimate goal was then to be able to recommend connections for the user and facilitate the scheduling of meetings connections.
What I did
After receiving specifications and requirements. I first designed the app using Invision prototyping software - see designs here. Following approval of designs, I developed the web frontend using ReactJS.
